EarthPlot is a data analysis and visualization tool for Google
Earth. EarthPlot processes geographic based data to generate a
variety of maps within Google Earth. Data can be imported from
several ASCII data formats, in addition to being copied directly from a
Microsoft Excel worksheet. EarthPlot is also capable of
downloading topographic maps and aerial photographs from Microsoft's
TerraServer to supplement Google Earth's imagery. EarthPlot is
compatible with all versions of Google Earth - including the free version.
The flyover tool plays back
flight data or creates tours from a series of coordinates.
Maps: post, contour, trajectory,
graduated symbol, raster image, spider.
Import formats: ASCII data files (csv, prn, txt, etc.),
raster images (bmp, jpg, tiff, etc., Direct downloads from Microsoft TerraServer,
copy/paste compatibility with Microsoft Excel.
Export formats: Google Earth Keyhole Markup Language (KML) files, ASCII data files (csv, prn, txt, etc.).

EarthPaint

EarthPaint is a painting and drawing tool for
Google Earth. EarthPaint allows the user to create freehand drawings and
publish them as Google Earth ground overlays. EarthPaint synchronizes its
view with that of Google Earth, and displays a referenced grayscale base map
to aid in drawing. Drawing is accomplished using a variety of tools
such as a freehand pencil, ellipse, rectangle, polygon, and text tool.
When a drawing is complete, a single button publishes it as a transparent
overlay to Google Earth. |
